PostSubject: FV Lark Review   FV Lark Review Icon_minitimeFri May 01, 2009 5:51 am

Someone asked for a review on this, so here goes! I also did a short review at LD&D.

I have a Choc. Geobot one. Love the pockets in it, especially the two exterior
end ones. I can fit water bottles or DD's sippy cup in these (the flap doesn't
close but it doesn't look bad with it up. Its easy to stuff but doesn't feel
big and is so light weight. I tried an FV Hana and a big difference between the
two is that the Hana has a structured bottom and the bottom feet, so even if you
only had a few things in it, it still felt a bit wide as you carried it. The
Lark does not have a structured bottom, so if it only has a few things it kind
of collapses against your side.

I wasn't crazy about the colors at first, but they have grown on me. I'm
currently using it as a church bag because its the only bag I have that is large
enough to fit my fat 3-ring binder that I use when I sing on the praise team,
along with a hymnal, two Bibles, my water bottle, and a few toys, bink, burp
cloth, etc. for the baby (dipes and wipes go in the nursery bag that goes with
my toddler).

I think it would be a great dipe bag with the pockets (the two larger ones fit
dipes/wipes great) and when you need to stuff in jackets, hats, and other odds
and ends. Its too bad they don't include the change mat and wipes holder with
it. It does have plastic D rings so you could connect it to a stroller.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the faux leather on the handles. The
handle straps are nice and wide, but then they fold in half and are covered by
this faux leather at the top, and its not as comfy on the shoulder as it could
be if the straps were wider. And it would be nice if the tote straps had a longer
drop length, closer to the sling tote. Also, I'm not sure if it would do well in the
washing machine with the faux leather trim. Other than that, its a nice bag.
Mine is a second and I got it for a great deal from another mama here, but they
have the choc. geobot discounted to $49 on the FV site right now, must be they
are doing away with that pattern.

Let me know if you have any other Q's!
Angie

Yep, you're first in line! If I come across another pretty bag that will hold my huge music binder and other stuff I need for church and am ready to get rid of her, I'll let you know ASAP!

Maybe you'll have to hold out hope for more on the seconds sale at FV. I'm crossing my fingers that next time they'll have some Ogo Hanas Smile

This sounds like an interesting bag. I have looked at it, but it looks huge. Obviously, I need to give it a second look...or third...or tenth. Very Happy
