1 3/4 cup sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cuo sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 cup mashed ripe banana's (approx 2-3 bananas)

sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat shortening until creamy, in a mixing bowl. add sugar gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy. add eggs and beat well. add flou mixture alternately with bananas, a small amount at a time. beating after each addition until smooth. turn into a well greased bread pan and bake in oven 350 degrees, about 1 hour and 10 minuetes, or until bread looks done. cook times can vary depending on oven. cool and enjoy!
