Definitely hard work. Our spark died out when DS1 was born. We haven't gone out alone anywhere for the last three years. Heck we don't go out even with the kids. They cause too much ruckus when we're out. The last four times we went to Home Depot and Lowes, they managed to break at least one thing each time

Our Church is organizing a marriage retreat the weekend of Feb 19th and we can't even go coz we have don't have a babysitter. Is there anybody in your church you can talk to?

Definitely hard work. Our spark died out when DS1 was born. We haven't gone out alone anywhere for the last three years. Heck we don't go out even with the kids. They cause too much ruckus when we're out. The last four times we went to Home Depot and Lowes, they managed to break at least one thing each time

Our Church is organizing a marriage retreat the weekend of Feb 19th and we can't even go coz we have don't have a babysitter. Is there anybody in your church you can talk to?

the one I'm going to on Saturday is kind of the equivalent to the retreat except its $35 which is basically just dinner your paying for. We will be attending the last half as its ds's last day for soccer...its tournament and trophy day

thanks...ds's game everyone was a winner its fun to watch but indoor soccer is a pain to take pic's

the marriage thing was ok I wasn't overly impressed it don't much for our marriage...but had fun with some other couples we know

I'm sorry you weren't impressed with the retreat But good to know that you had fun with other couples. Sometimes it's just nice to sit back and mingle with other people even if it's just for a couple of hours.
