First off, I want to thank Maya, LD&D, and Nancy for letting me try these out! I'm gonna do this in simple pro and con fashion, as well as compare it to what I normally use, baby leg warmers.
Lil Melon Knee Pads, Fish Design:
**Pro's:
- Extremely cute!! (that's a given!)
- They stay put and do not slide off
- Great knee protection on hard surfaces
- The webbing or net on the back is a nice touch for ventilation and so it doesn't bunch up as much behind the knee.
- Very soft!
- Great quality.
- Cute animal characters engage baby! She kept looking at her knees to see the cute fishy!
**Con's: (it was hard to come up with these!)
- I noticed the knee pad would shift around a little bit when Haven was crawling. You can kind of see it in one of the pics. Luckily it wasn't the whole knee pad, just the actual padded part, so this is probably normal.
- I'm thinking they might fit younger babies better since they were kind of tight on her, although they still fit her pretty good! (She is almost 1)
The package they come in, cute!! Can also see what they are made of.Front and BackAction shot! Another action shot. You can see the netting on the back here. These are what I normally use. I roll the top down to avoid wicking from her cloth diaper. I like these since she can pretty much do everything in them, sleep/go out/play,etc. The Lil Melon knee pads are better though for absolute knee protection in my opinion! Especially for those houses with hard floors!
