Coupons and JJB's...Please help clear up the confusion!

There has been a lot of talk in the Pink Room lately about people using coupons on JJB's. I am hoping you can clear up any confusing on this matter. It is my understanding that if you use a coupon code on a JJB and it gets noticed that you will be asked to pay the difference. I know a lot of people have had them go through though, even when it's a preorder. Is it just certain coupons that can be used? Can you use THANKYOU? Can you use SAVE15? I know the pre-order coupons are obviously allowed, but what about the others?

Shhhhhh....it's a don't ask, don't tell thing

If there is an error with your order LD&D will send you an email to let you know how to fix it and we all know that JJB's are never discounted. If you do not get an email to correct it there is a chance it was overlooked, hence the "don't ask, don't tell".

Hey, sorry for the delay. Situations differ. We're usually very strict about coupon use on items that state "no coupons allowed"
The system we have JUST recently got an upgrade where we can take SKU's and add them to the "not allowed" list but that would take us way too long to adjust, OR we can cancel every single coupon we have out there and build up from there..... but we want you all to have the coupons you use already (we definitely don't want to disappoint you
As far as JJB, sometimes an order gets by but with new orders we try not to run past them and process. In that case we will send a no coupon use on JJB email.
If you've ordered from us before then we have been authorized to allow coupons even on JJB pre-orders included.
