So Al, Katy and I decided we are sick of the extra weight!
And we figured who better to turn to for support than our favorite fans!?!?!

So we're looking to set up teams. Up to 10 people per team leader (Al, Katy and myself) to do a month and a half long weight loss trial on the Weight Watchers weight loss program!

Each week our team mates as well as us will do a weigh in including 3 images (front, side and with the scale number). The person that loses the most each week wins a free small gift!

At the end of the month and a half, the TEAM that loses the most weight throughout the contest get a $25 gift certificate.
And of all the participants, the 3rd place winner gets a free $30 gift certificate.
2nd place winner gets a $50 gift certificate.
And the person that loses the most weight out of all of us, wins a free choice of Ju Ju Be bag up to $150!

To enter, post your first 3 pics (front, side and on the scale showing your weight) in response to this thread with your weight and specs.
Include Arm width, thigh width, chest, neck and waist.
We will be posting ours tomorrow!

Each week post updates pictures and at the end we will all post the updates specs with our last pics for the run.
Within the weight loss contest we will also have a bunch of other contests for those that aren't participating in the weight loss but wanna show support!

We were going to do contests for recipe's, exercise ideas and of the sort.

I understand the WW diet thing, but probably won't do it if it is WW. I'm already doing a weight loss program (just balanced eating and exercise), so I'm not wanting to log something completely different to me. Either way you decide to do it is fine Very Happy

Alyssa, what do you think? I would love suggestions.
I just wanted everyone's losses to be healthy and no extreme.
I once did the Sadkhin Complex diet and lost 27 pounds in a month. Someone on that diet can win the competition but it's one of the unhealthiest diets I've encountered and THAT for instance wouldn't be fair play.

I'm in if you still have space! I can post my pics this afternoon! Now I'm off to WalMart to buy a new digital scale. ETA: I was just thinking of re-signing up for WW online so this is perfect for me!! Smile

YAY! I love the points system and feeling like no food is "off limits". Otherwise I tend to freak out just BECAUSE I'm on a "diet" and crave bad stuff in an almost manic way. LOL

I'll start today too! I dont do WW but I have one of those converting tools so I can easily see how many points are in each thing i'm eating...

though it seems like one WW point=50 calories, possible 1 less point if it is high fiber ...so an option could be just counting calories?

I'm the same way! That's what I love about WW. And the 35 extra points per week are a life saver!

Hmmmm I think that could work. And I can always look stuff up for you. I have the book and the points counter too
