When I was little I loved to play with dolls and name them...I came up with the name Kayline (pronounced Kay-leen) one day and swore that if I ever had a little girl I would name her that.
After we found out that we were pregnant with a baby girl, my husband's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her name was Eileen so Kayline was changed to Kayleen to honor the grandmother that she would never meet...
And since we are die hard NY Mets fans, her middle name is Shea after Shea stadium which was closed for good when I was pregnant with her
