And what a time for it. Rolling Eyes
It's my fault. I don't even know what I bought last month, but DH wasn't impressed. I didn't think I got too bad, but I guess I got a little crazy.

*sigh*

What a bad time for a no spend.

LOL. Exactly. Plus, shipping takes so long around here, it'll be trickling in all month, LOL.

Ya, stupid online banking, LOL.
I'm a sucker for a great deal.

I should have known not to spend though, since getting my braces on was $1000 up front. I feel bad for not using my head.

Oh I hate waiting for stuff too. The waiting period makes me want to buy more just to satisfy that "rush".

Then again what does DH expect you to do? You moved there just for him even though you hate it, there's nothing to do and nowhere to go. There's not even a Wal-Mart there! You're stuck at home all day taking care of Q. Now I'm sure you love taking care of Q but what else are you supposed to do? Darn internet Laughing

You're not alone either. I'm a huuuge sucker for deals Laughing

Yup, exactly. I mean, I look online for deals...I find them, I buy them.
It's not like I spend thousands. It's like $20, $30, $40 here and there, but I do realize it adds up.

I told him that I want him to give me a limit of what I can spend per month. That way I know I can buy SOMETHING, but I won't just go and buy stupid little things that I don't need.

That's when I got told the amount is 0 for next month. Sad
This was before I broke the news that I just bought 3 new pairs of pants, LOL.

That's what I was gonna suggest....ask DH to give you a spending limit every month. But you beat me to it. Great minds think alike Laughing

Aw man....it sucks that you can't spend anything next month.

I think she's in Newfoundland and her dh is a helicopter pilot. I could be wrong though but I'm pretty sure.
Yeah I feel so sorry for her. She can't even get one of those electric toothbrushes coz they don't sell them there.

Oh I'm sorry...LOL! I should've explained it. She posted in the PR that she's getting screwed over by an eBay seller. She bought an electric toothbrush and the seller wanted to charge just as much for shipping. So she made an offer to the seller to buy the toothbrush with free shipping and he accepted but now he wants to charge her shipping. Ebay is apparently investigating it. She was saying that's how bad it is where she lives....she can't even get something as simple as an electric toothbrush Laughing

That's what a few Canadian PLs offered to do for her. But one of her friends went to the nearest town which is a few hours away and there's a Wal-Mart there so her friend got it for her. Sad huh? The nearest Wal-Mart is hours away Sad

I live about 5 minutes driving distance from one.

No, I'm not on facebook. I know....who doesn't have one right? See I don't want to open one because there is so much crud going on with MIL. DH's SIL, his brother's wife is on facebook and MIL keeps sending her an invite to be her friend but SIL doesn't want to because she wants to keep that part of her life to herself and because of that, MIL is pissed at her and dh's brother. Then my dh started defending SIL and now MIL is pissed at dh for that. It has been going on for months now and that's why I refuse to create a profile. Also, most of my friends from the past were not very good influences in my life so I'm trying to avoid them tracking me down to. It's a whole bunch of crud I tell ya.

Sorry to hear you are on a no spend. It is really good to do those though. I started tracking all of our spending and we have a weekly goal. If we go over, we really try to show restraint the other weeks to keep it in check. It truly helps a lot! Good luck!

Good point Amy. I think DH and I really need to do this as well. Well more me really. I find that I can get really carried away some months with my spending. I've been really lucky so far in that it hasn't affected us but I can see that it will if I continue shopping the way I do Neutral

Yup, ebay dealt with the guy. He was being fraudulent. Stupid. That made me so angry.

My friend didn't end up going to walmart. It was a work trip and they kept her too busy. GAH! One day I will get this toothbrush! Shocked Rolling Eyes
